LOW-DOSE CT OF THE LUNG

Low-dose CT of the lung enables effective lung cancer screening with significantly reduced radiation exposure. It is particularly suitable for high-risk patients (e.g. smokers, occupational exposure) and for monitoring the progress of unclear lung lesions. Other pulmonary issues such as emphysema, fibrosis or signs of inflammation can also be assessed.

SINUS CT

Paranasal sinus CT (NNH-CT) provides high-resolution images of the bony structures and mucous membranes. Common indications are chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, deviated septum or preoperative planning prior to ENT surgery. The examination is low in radiation and only takes a few seconds.

CT THORAX & ABDOMEN

CT examinations of the thorax and abdomen enable a quick, precise assessment of the lungs, mediastinum, abdominal organs and pelvis. Initially, I offer diagnostics without contrast medium – for many questions (stones, calcifications, lung changes, bony structures) this is already sufficiently informative.

CT-SUPPORTED PAIN THERAPY (PRT)

CT-guided periradicular therapy (PRT) enables the needle to be positioned with millimeter precision on the affected nerve root. Under CT control, an anti-inflammatory medication is injected specifically into the irritated area. Typical indications are herniated discs, spinal canal stenosis and chronic back pain.

COSTS & BILLING

CT examinations are carried out for private patients and self-payers according to GOÄ. The specific costs depend on the region of examination and the amount of work involved. Initially, I offer diagnostics without contrast medium. I will be happy to inform you about the expected costs when you request an appointment.
